| Judge Laurence J. Dunford Judge Laurence Dunford has been a sitting judge for over 7 years since being appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court in 2003. He was elected in 2004. He is experienced and is presently the Supervising Judge of the Civil Jury Judges in the 1St Municipal District. Before being appointed to the bench, he was a trial lawyer for over 30 years representing both sides in civil matters. Judge Dunford has been found qualified by the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and many others.
