Judge Kay M. Hanlon

      Judge Kay M. Hanlon was elected to the Circuit Court in November, 2004.  She
is running for retention in November. Judge Hanlon is currently assigned to the Third
Municipal District  Judge Hanlon graduated from DePaul University College of Law in
1985.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in
Champaign where she majored in finance.  She worked as an Assistant State’s
Attorney in Cook County from 1985 to 1997.  There she was assigned to the narcotics
unit, felony review unit and gang crimes unit.  Judge Hanlon left the office in 1997 and
opened her own law firm.  She practiced in the areas of criminal law and domestic relations.  Judge Hanlon is married
and has two sons, Kevin 15years and Jack, 13 years old.
