Judicial Experience: In November 1996, Judge Gavin was first elected
to the bench. He was assigned to the Domestic Relations Division of the
Circuit Court of Cook County. In February 1999, Judge Gavin was
assigned to an individual calendar, a docket that includes preliminary
matters, trials and post-decree cases. Judge Gavin is currently assigned
to a an individual civil call handling all pre-trial, trials and post trial matters
in the 4 Municipal district.
