Kerry M. Kennedy Circuit Court of Cook County Kerry Kennedy was elected to the bench in 2002 and has been assigned to Municipal District Five since August 2003, hearing all criminal matters. Kennedy, prior to serving on the bench, was an Assistant Public Defender for over 20 years. Judge Kennedy was found highly qualified/qualified by all participating Bar Groups prior to being elected to the bench in 2002.
