| Noreen Valeria Love Date Admitted to Bar: 1989 – Illinois; Federal Trial Bar, Northern District of Illinois – 1996. Court: Circuit Court of Cook County, 4th Municipal District, Maywood, Illinois. Legal Experience: Immediately prior to becoming a judge, Love was a supervisor with the Office of the Public Defender in the 6th Municipal District, Markham, Illinois from 2001-2002. She was a solo practitioner concentrating in criminal defense from 1994-2001. Love was an assistant public defender from 1989-1994. Judicial Experience: Love was appointed as a Circuit Judge in June 2002. She was elected to the bench in November 2002 and was assigned to traffic court. Her duties included hearing traffic cases and traveling throughout the 1st District to hear various misdemeanor cases and conduct preliminary hearings. In June 2003, Judge Love was transferred to the 4th Municipal District where she currently serves as a judge in Domestic Violence and Drug Treatment Courts.
