Judge Michelle Francine Lowrance

Legal Experience: Immediately prior to becoming a judge, she was a sole
practitioner in Chicago, with emphasis on family law and criminal matters.

Judicial Experience: In March 1995, Lowrance was appointed to the Circuit
Court of Cook County. She was elected to a 6-year term in November 1996.
She is currently assigned to the Domestic Relations Division. In July 1997,
Judge Lowrance was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Illinois
Advisory Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency as an alternate for
Chief Justice Charles E. Freeman.
