Judicial Experience: In May 1995, McGury was appointed a judge in the circuit
Court of Cook County.  She was elected to a 6-year term in November 1996.
She was initially assigned to the Child Protection Division. Judge McGury was
then transferred to the 4th Municipal District.  She is currently assigned to
the Probate Division.

Awards : 1977, Bar and Gavel Award, law school community.

her four sisters, two are teachers, one is a psychologist and one is a victim's advocate. She has two nieces
and two nephews.
