Judicial Experience: In March 1995, Patti was appointed to the Circuit Court of Cook County. In November
1996, he was elected to a 6-year term. He served in the Child Protection Division. He was then transferred
to Municipal District 1, effective January 26, 1998, to assist the chief judge in the reorganization of the
Housing Court. In June 1999, Chief Judge O'Connell appointed Patti as supervising judge in the 1st
Municipal District Housing Section, replacing Judge Michael J. Murphy. Additionally, from 1993-97, Patti was
a commissioner on the Supreme Court of Illinois Committee on Character and Fitness.

Awards : 1984, 1988, U.S. Government Bronze Medal for Toxics Litigation; 1992, U.S. Government Bronze
Medal for Clean water Act Litigation; 1993, U.S. Government Distinguished Service Award.
