Admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for Kansas and the Central and Northern Districts of Illinois, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th Circuits. 1976, federal public defender intern, District of Kansas; 1977, law clerk for District Judge Herbert W. In June 1999, Chief Judge O'Connell appointed Patti as supervising judge in the 1st Municipal District Housing Section, replacing Judge Michael J. Murphy. Additionally, from 1993-97, Patti was a commissioner on the Supreme Court of Illinois Committee on Character and Fitness.
