Prior to that she was Supervising Judge of the four Chicago Felony courtrooms in the 2nd District. She was appointed to the judiciary in September 1995 and elected in November 1996. As Presiding Judge she created and instituted “What Teens Should Know About the Criminal Justice System,” which is now being presented in 6 area high schools.
