| Judge John T. Doody Jr. Date admitted to Bar: April 23, 1974 Court: Circuit Court of Cook County Legal Experience: Immediately prior to being elected as judge, Doody was in private practice. Previously he served as law clerk to Appellate Court Justice Alan L. Stouder. While in private practice he served as legal advisor to the Secretary of State as a trainer of hearing officers and prosecutors and as an attorney in driver’s license revocation and reinstatement proceedings. Judicial Experience: Judge Doody was elected to the Circuit Court of Cook County for a six year term in November 2002. He was first assigned to Traffic Court and was then transferred to the Criminal Division where he now sits at the Criminal Courts Building at 26th Street.
